Brand new AMD AM2 Athlon 64 X2 2.5 GHz AM2+ 2MB cache OEM processor, only took it out to test it to see if it i working, which it is in perfect working order. I order this processor with my DDR3 RAM which does not support the AMD AM2 processor, so need a AM3 processor for the RAM to work
