FAULTY DELL LATITUDE D620 ?

Hi, I have a faulty dell latitude D620 laptop. Not sure what is broken and is not working - done a quick diagnostic with dell and they think is either the motherboard or the screen. Either way can be bother to fix - works cheaper to buy a new laptop. Would suit someone that they want it for parts or know how to fix it. Laptop comes with power A/C, battery is not working and i have removed the hard drive because of personal data i have. If you have a mechanism to format the hard drive happy to throw that in as well (250GB hard drive). Laptop is equiped with a 1.6GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB RAM, DVD-CDRW Drive.
